ORMIT’s response to COVID-19

At ORMIT, we are constantly monitoring the latest developments in the efforts to contain the spread of the corona-virus. As the safety and wellbeing of all our employees and customers is our biggest concern, we have made the following decisions:

  • All our employees are now working from home. Together with our clients, we are doing everything we can to make sure ORMIT’ers can continue to work at their project, while working from home.
  • We continue recruiting for all our Traineeships & Talent Programs. In order to do so, we have digitalized our complete recruitment process.
  • All one-on-one meetings related to the personal development track of our trainees, such as coachings, are held digital. Group trainings are postponed to a later date.
  • Together with ORMIT The Netherlands, we have a dedicated team that monitors the situation on a daily basis

As we believe people make the difference, we look forward to discovering new ways of working together – using web conference tools and other technology. These tools will not only be used to replace meetings as usual, we also emphasise the importance of social contact during times like these. This Friday, we will organise a virtual townhall meeting for all our employees where members of the Management Team will share their action plan for the near future, answer questions and address concerns of all employees.

We took the opportunity to digitalise our complete recruitment and selection process. From CV screening to assessment day, everything is now happening online – while still giving all our candidates a first touch of the ORMIT experience.

Of course, our clients business is impacted as well. Together with them, we look for solutions that will keep their business up and running.
